Roop Shree Marble

Being out here in the Old Industrial Area of Madanganj means there is always noise from the trucks and the machines. We are at G-35, and it’s a bit of a maze back here if you don’t know where you’re going. Roop Shree Marble is just a place where we keep the stone ready for whoever needs it. I spend most of my mornings checking the inventory and making sure the slabs didn't get chipped during the last delivery. It is hard work, honestly. My hands are always rough from touching the stone. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s mostly just me and a couple of helpers. People come by because they heard we have a specific color or because they saw our sign while driving to another warehouse. We’ve seen the industrial area change quite a bit over the years, but we’ve stayed in this same spot. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the summer, making the marble almost too hot to touch without gloves. We usually have some cold water ready if a customer stays too long looking at the patterns. It is just a regular business. We wake up, we move some stone, and we go home. Nothing too complicated about it. We just try to make sure the piles stay organized so we can actually find what someone is looking for.
