We’ve been at E-422 for a long time now. Most days it is just about managing the stock and talking to people who drop by the Ricco Industrial Area. Paryavaran Marg can get pretty busy with all the traffic, but we’ve gotten used to the noise of the heavy trucks going back and forth. Madanganj is a place where you see stone everywhere you look. We spend most of our mornings checking the slabs and making sure everything is sitting in the right spot in the yard. It’s not a fancy setup at all, just a yard with a lot of stone and some basic office space to handle the bills. Sometimes the dust gets to you, but that's just part of the job here. We handle things as they come and don't overcomplicate it. People know where to find us if they are looking for something specific for their house or project. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoon, so we usually just sit under the fan when it gets too hot to move. Dealing with stone is heavy work, but we’ve been doing it long enough that it feels normal to us now. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure the orders get loaded correctly onto the trailers. Most of our day is spent outside or standing near the gate. It's a straightforward way to earn a living. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the yard gets crowded when new shipments arrive. That's just how it goes.
