Ramesh Chhaparwal & Sons

Our family business, Ramesh Chhaparwal & Sons, is located over on Makrana Road within the Madanganj Riico Industrial Area. It’s mostly just me and my sons working here these days. The industrial area is a very noisy and busy place with all the factories and machines running from morning until night. We spend most of our hours out in the yard or under the shed looking at the marble blocks we have. This has been our main spot for a long time now. There is always a lot of white dust from the cutting process, so our clothes and everything else get covered in it pretty quickly. We do not have any big, flashy signs out front, just the company name painted on the wall so people know they have the right place. Usually, customers find us because they already know the area or someone they trust told them to come check us out. The road leading here can get a bit rough because of the heavy lorries passing through all day long. We deal mostly with the local stone that comes from the nearby mines. Some days are slow and we just sit around drinking tea, while other days we are busy moving heavy slabs until it gets dark. My sons help me with the billing and checking the quality of each piece. It is a simple life and a simple business for us. That is just how it is.
