Our spot is right at the Main Makrana Chouraha in Madanganj. It's a busy corner, always lots of traffic and noise outside. Being at the crossroads means we see a lot of people passing through. We've got different types of marble sitting around the yard. Most of it comes from the quarries nearby. We spend our days moving slabs and talking to contractors who stop by. It’s a bit of a messy job, but we've got used to the dust. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoon. We've been at this location for a good bit of time now. Sometimes the trucks get backed up at the intersection, but that's just part of being here. We aren't big on talking ourselves up. We just have the stone there for whoever wants to take a look. Some people want slabs for their kitchens, others are doing big floors. We just show them what's in stock today. The stock changes depending on what we can get from the mines. We try to keep things organized but it’s hard when you're moving heavy blocks all day. If you're driving through the Chouraha, you can't really miss us. We keep the gate open most of the day unless it’s raining hard. It's just a local business run by local people. We know the area well and we know our stone. We are usually here until late most evenings unless the work is done.
