R. A. Marbles

R. A. Marbles is right in the middle of the action on Makrana Road in Madanganj. Being in the RIICO Industrial Area means we are surrounded by other marble businesses, so there is never a quiet moment around here. The sound of saws and the rumble of heavy trucks is something we hear from morning until night. We have a decent-sized space where we store our slabs, and we spend a lot of time out there in the dust. Makrana is famous for its stone, so we feel like we are in the right place for what we do. Our daily routine involves a lot of lifting and checking the quality of the marble blocks that arrive. It is not a clean job, and we usually go home with marble dust in our hair and on our shoes. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person; we just rely on the fact that we are right here on the main road where everyone can see us. Sometimes we sit outside on plastic chairs and have tea while we wait for the next customer to pull up. We have been part of this industrial belt for a while now and we know the ins and outs of how things work here. It is a tough business with a lot of competition, but we just focus on our own yard and keep working.
