Pushpa Marble & Supp.

Pushpa Marble & Supp. is located on Harmara Road in Madanganj. We are pretty close to the High Stone Diamond place, which most people know. It’s a bit quieter on this road than right in the middle of the Mandi, which I actually prefer for working. I’ve been working here for years, and most of our customers are locals or people who have heard about us from their builders. I spend my mornings checking the inventory and making sure the water supply for the polishers is working right. We use a lot of water to get that shine on the stone. It’s a messy job and my clothes are always damp by the end of the shift. I don't use any fancy sales talk. When someone walks into the yard, I just let them wander around the rows of marble. I’m usually nearby if they have a question about the thickness or where the stone came from. We also supply some of the smaller shops in the area when they run low on stock. It’s a lot of paperwork sometimes, dealing with the suppliers and the transport permits. But mostly, it’s just about the stone. I like the smell of wet marble and the way the yard looks when it’s all organized. We just take it one day at a time here on Harmara Road and try to do the work right so the customers are happy when they leave with their stone.
