Pratap Marble

We've been at Pratap Marble for a while now. Our spot is right by Balaji Marble Suppliers on 2nd Lane Road. If you know the area near National Highway-8, you've probably driven past us many times. The highway gets pretty busy and loud with all the heavy trucks, but we're used to it. Most mornings start with moving slabs around and checking what came in. It's dusty work. We spend a lot of time on our feet in the yard. The sun hits the stone pretty hard in the afternoon. People stop by asking for directions sometimes since we're so close to the main road. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that. Just a lot of heavy stone and some basic tools to get things sorted. Sometimes the weather makes it tough to move stuff, especially when it rains and the ground gets soft. We just handle the marble as it comes. It's a straightforward life here. The neighbors on 2nd Lane are mostly doing the same kind of stuff. We keep our gates open during the day so people can just walk in and look at what's sitting in the stacks. There's always something to do, whether it's sweeping up the dust or re-arranging the heavier pieces so they don't lean too much. It’s a lot of manual labor and not much else to say about it. We’re just here doing the work every day.
