Prakash Marble & Granites

Our spot here at Prakash Marble & Granites is right in the heart of the Marble Mandi in Madanganj. Being at B-3 in the Riico Industrial Area means we are surrounded by stone all day. It’s a loud place with the sound of machinery and cranes moving big slabs of granite and marble around. We’ve been operating from this location for a good while, and most of our days are spent out in the yard checking the inventory. It gets really hot during the summer months, and the dust from the stone cutting covers everything in a thin white layer. We don't have a fancy showroom with air conditioning or anything like that. People just come by, look at the stacks of granite we have, and we talk about the price and the loading. We usually have a lot of trucks lined up outside on the main road, which can make things a bit chaotic in the mornings. It’s just a straightforward operation where we focus on getting the stone out to whoever needs it for their building projects. We know most of the other yard owners around here and we all pretty much do things the same way. There’s no big corporate office behind us, just us working in the yard and making sure the orders are ready when the transport arrives. It’s a lot of physical work, but it keeps us busy and the Mandi is always full of life.
