Patodi Marble & Granite

Patodi Marble & Granite is located in the Old Area of Madanganj, over in the Ajmer district. This part of town has been the center of the stone trade for a very long time. Our yard is right in the middle of it all. It’s a place where you can see the history of the marble business just by looking at the buildings and the old roads. We have been working with marble and granite here for years. It is a noisy, busy place with trucks squeezing through the narrow streets. We don’t have a fancy setup or anything like that. It’s just a workspace with stacks of stone and a small area for us to sit. The air is usually thick with the sound of saws and the smell of wet stone. We know most of the other business owners around here since everyone has been in the trade for generations. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We just focus on the slabs we have and getting them ready for customers. Some days are long, especially when we have a big shipment to sort out. The weather in Ajmer can get really hot, which makes the yard work a bit tougher, but we’re used to it. We just keep things moving and do our work day by day.
