Paras Marbles

You can find Paras Marbles at Plot No. C 20 in the Marble Mandi part of the RIICO industrial area. We are quite close to the Marble City Hospital, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us for the first time. The Mandi is always packed with people and vehicles, so it’s a lively place to be. We have our marble slabs arranged in rows so you can walk between them and look at the veins in the stone. It’s just me and a couple of helpers managing the yard. We aren't a corporate company; we’re just a local business trying to make a living. The stone we get varies, and we just sell what we have in stock. There’s a lot of noise from the main road, but inside the yard, it’s mostly just the sound of the stone being moved. We don't spend much on decorating the place. The focus is on the marble itself. When a customer comes, we show them around, talk about the thickness, and see if it fits what they need. Sometimes we sit outside on plastic chairs when the weather is nice. It’s a very hands-on job. You get dirty, you get tired, but you see the results when a truck leaves full of stone. We’ve been in this spot for a good while now and know most of the regulars.
