P. S. Marble & Granites

If you take Tunkra Road, you'll find us, P. S. Marble & Granites. It's a bit quieter out here compared to the main highways, which we actually prefer. We have a decent amount of space to keep our marble and granite slabs. The work starts early in the morning when the air is still cool. We spend a lot of time organizing the yard. Granite is heavy and requires a lot of care to move without any accidents. We aren't a big corporation with fancy brochures. It's mostly just family and a few workers who have been with us for a long time. We know the stones pretty well. Each piece has its own look, and no two slabs are ever exactly the same. Customers usually just pull up and walk around the stacks to see what catches their eye. We don't hover over them. If they need help, we are there, otherwise, we let them look. The road can get a bit muddy when it rains, making it tricky for the heavy loaders, but we manage to keep things moving. We’ve stayed on Tunkra Road because it gives us the room we need for the inventory. It isn't a glamorous job, dealing with rocks and dust all day, but it’s what we've done for years. We just try to keep enough stock on hand so people find what they are looking for when they visit.
