Omega Stones Pvt. Ltd. is based over on Harmada Road, right in the Indu Area of Madan Gang. It’s a busy little stretch of road with a lot of trucks passing through. We’ve been here at this location for years, and the neighbors all know us by now. Our setup isn't anything special to look at, just a lot of stone slabs and some heavy machinery for moving them around. We keep a pretty regular schedule, starting early before the heat gets too bad. Most of the time, it’s just the sound of the saws or the crane going. We don’t really have a sales team or anything polished like that. If someone needs stone, they just walk into the yard and talk to whoever is around. My brother and I handle most of the day-to-day stuff. It gets pretty dusty, as you can imagine, so we are always cleaning off the desks in the back. The inventory changes depending on what we can get from the mines each month. Sometimes we have plenty of one type, and then it’s gone the next week. We try to keep things simple and honest. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just like doing our work and seeing the slabs go off to new homes. If the gate is open, we are usually inside working on something or other and we'll come out to meet you when we see you.
