Kishangarh is a place where you see stone everywhere you look. We are set up on Tunkra Road, over in Phase-IV of the RIICO Industrial Area. It’s a rugged part of the district. The ground is always white with marble slurry and the air smells like wet rock. We supply different kinds of stones to people who need them for big projects or small jobs. It’s an industrial life here. We have cranes and machines that hum all day long. The heat in the summer gets really bad, but the work doesn't stop. We spend our time talking to drivers and making sure the loading is done right. If a slab breaks, that's a bad day. We get visitors from all over who are looking for specific colors or textures. We show them what we have in the yard. There isn't any shade except inside the small office area. We drink a lot of water and keep the ledgers updated. It’s not the kind of place you come to look pretty; it’s a place for hard labor. Every day is about moving weight and making sure the trucks leave on time. We’ve been part of this industrial zone for years. You get to know the other suppliers and the tea stall guys. It’s a tough business but the stone is beautiful once it’s polished and installed somewhere far away from here.
