Our yard is at E-5 in the Riico Industrial Area of Kishangarh. If you know Kishangarh at all, you know it’s the main hub for this kind of stone work in the region. We’ve been based here for a while now. The area is filled with rows of stone and marble as far as you can see. We spend most of our time out in the open, checking the stock and talking to the laborers. It’s a lot of manual work. We move things around with cranes and just hope the weather stays clear for the day. When it rains, the yard gets really muddy, which makes moving the slabs much harder and more dangerous. But usually, it’s just dry and very sunny. We keep a small office for the paperwork and to escape the heat for a little bit. There isn't anything fancy about how we run things here. We just show up, manage the loaders, and keep track of what’s coming and going. Kishangarh is a competitive place, but we just focus on our own plot at E-5. We’ve got a routine that works for us. Some days are slow, and other days we can barely keep up with the trucks lining up outside the gate. Word usually gets around through people who have been here before. It's a practical business. We deal with the stone as it is and try to keep the yard organized for the next day.
