N. R. Marble

We’ve been running N. R. Marble for a while now, tucked away in the Old Industrial Area of Madanganj. It’s a busy spot, especially being so close to the Marble Mandi where all the trade happens. Most days start early for us here. We see the trucks lining up and the sun hitting the stone slabs piled up in the yard. The area gets pretty dusty, which is just part of the job when you work with marble every day. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that, just a regular place where we get the work done and talk to the people who stop by. Sometimes the traffic near the mandi makes things slow, but we are used to the rhythm of this part of town. Our neighbors are mostly other yards and small workshops, so there is always the sound of cutting or loading in the background. We don't spend much time on the computer or making things look perfect. We just focus on the stone we have and making sure people find what they need when they drive into the old area. It’s a simple setup. We know the roads around here like the back of our hands. If you’re looking for us, just head toward the mandi and look for our sign among the others in the industrial stretch. It feels like home to us, even with all the noise and the grit that comes with this trade.
