Minaxi Marbles

We are located right at Ramner Chouraha in the Industrial Area of Madan Ganj. It’s a busy part of town with lots of trucks coming and going. Minaxi Marbles has been here for a good bit of time. The air is always full of that white marble dust, so we wear masks most of the day. It’s a noisy place with machines running, but that’s just how it is in an industrial zone. We have stacks of marble everywhere you look. Some pieces are huge and some are just scraps. We spend our mornings checking the slabs and making sure nothing got cracked during transport. Madan Ganj is famous for this kind of work, so we are just one of many, but we try to do our part honestly. Our office is just a small room with a desk and some old chairs. We don't have air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that struggle in the summer heat. Most of the guys here have been working with stone their whole lives. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just cut stone and sell it. It’s straightforward work. If you come down to the Chouraha, you’ll hear us before you see us. It’s a gritty job, but someone has to do it. We like the hustle of the industrial area and the sound of the saws. It’s how we make a living.
