M.B.D. Marble

We are located over at M.B.D. Marble on Harmada Road, not too far from Ajmer. If you are driving around Madan Ganaj, you will find us right across from Rajnigandha Marble Pvt.Ltd. It is a busy spot. There is always a lot of noise from the machines and the trucks backing in and out of the yards. We spend our time checking the blocks and making sure things are moving. It’s a lot of standing around in the sun, honestly. Sometimes the wind blows the dust right into the office, so we are always cleaning off the desks. We have different kinds of marble sitting out in the sun so people can see how they look in real light. It’s different than looking at a picture on a phone. You have to touch the stone and see the veins for yourself. We have been in this spot for a while now. The neighbors are mostly doing the same thing as us, so we all know each other. When a big crane comes in to move the heavy pieces, everyone stops to watch for a minute. It’s dangerous work if you don’t pay attention. We just try to get through the day, sell some slabs, and get home before the traffic on Harmada Road gets too bad. It’s a basic life here, just us and a lot of heavy stone slabs waiting for a new home.
