Marble Touch

Our business, Marble Touch, is situated on Harmara Road in Madanganj. We are located right across from Chandak Marble, which is a pretty well-known spot in the area. Being on this road means we are always in the middle of the action. There is a lot of traffic, mostly big trucks and people looking for stone for their houses. We keep our slabs lined up so people can walk through and see them easily. It isn't a fancy showroom with air conditioning; it’s just a regular yard. We spend most of our times out in the sun, moving things around and making sure the inventory is correct. It’s hard on the hands and the back, but we’ve been doing it for years. We aren't into big speeches or polished sales pitches. We just show people what we have and tell them the price. Most of the time, that’s all they need. We know most of the guys working on the other side of the road too. It’s a small world here in the marble trade. Sometimes when it rains, the yard gets a bit muddy, but we just throw some sand down and keep going. We don’t really close early unless there’s a real reason to. If you are looking for us, just find Chandak Marble on Harmara Road and look across the street. We’ll probably be out there somewhere among the stones. It is just how we do things here every day of the week.
