Bhandari Marble World

Bhandari Marble World is located right on Makrana Road. It’s a long road with lots of different stone shops, but we’ve been at this specific spot for quite some time now. The yard is usually filled with different types of marble slabs. Some are already polished and shiny, while others are still rough from the quarry site. We get all kinds of people stopping by throughout the week. Some are building a whole new house and others just want a small piece for a tiny repair job. We spend most of our time out there in the sun, showing people the various batches we have in stock. No two stones are ever exactly alike, which is something you learn pretty fast when you work in this trade. We often use a bucket of water to show how the colors will pop once the stone is finally finished. It’s a bit of a messy job. Our boots are always covered in white marble dust by lunchtime. We have a few guys who handle the heavy loading and unloading. It takes a lot of strength and some very careful driving with the forklift. Inside the little shed we call an office, we keep all the records and files. It’s not a fancy setup at all. It is just a place to sit out of the heat for a minute or two. We deal with suppliers and transport trucks coming and going all day long.
