Maheshwari Marbles

Maheshwari Marbles is based at No-H-1-5 on Tunkra Road, right in the heart of the Industrial Area in Madanganj, Kishangarh. Everyone knows this part of the world is big for stone, and we are just one of the many shops here. The H-1-5 plot is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s a place filled with the sound of cranes and the smell of wet earth and stone. Tunkra Road is often lined with vehicles, and the whole industrial area has a very specific kind of energy. We don’t have a corporate headquarters; our office is just a small room at the front of the yard where we keep our records and have our tea. The work is mostly done outside under the sky. We see the seasons change from that yard—the scorching heat of May and the occasional rains that turn the stone dust into mud. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s ours. We don’t go in for marketing slogans or fancy advertisements. We just rely on people seeing our work and the stone we carry. Dealing with marble is a heavy job, and it keeps you on your feet all day long. We have a routine that works for us, and we stick to it.
