Mahesh Marble & Granite

Our place is on Paryavaran Road, not far from the main Marble Mandi in Madanganj. It’s a busy spot. There is always a truck idling somewhere nearby or a forklift moving slabs. We have been working out of this location for several years. It is mostly just about keeping the yard organized, which is harder than it looks with all this stone. The weather here can be tough on the guys working outside, but they are used to it by now. We usually have some tea around eleven and talk about what needs to be loaded next. Customers come in and walk through the rows of marble. We don't have fancy brochures. You just see what we have and we tell you the price. It is very straightforward. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, making things a little messy, but that is part of being near the Mandi. We keep a mix of stuff, whatever is coming out of the local quarries. Sometimes it’s quiet, and other days three trucks show up at once and it’s chaos for a few hours. We just handle it as it comes. Being on Paryavaran Road means we are right in the middle of everything. It’s a practical setup for what we do. No more, no less. We've seen a lot of businesses come and go on this road, but we've managed to stay put. It's not always easy, but it's steady work.
