Mahaveer Marbles

We are located out on Harmara Road in Madanganj. Most people know this area because of the big marble mandi, and we are right across from it. At Mahaveer Marbles, we deal with stone every single day. The yard is usually white with dust, which is pretty much expected when you work with marble and granite. We spend a lot of time moving heavy slabs around and making sure everything is stacked safely. It is hard work and the sun can be quite strong out here on the road. We don't have a big fancy showroom with air conditioning. It is just a practical space where people come to look at the different types of stone we have in stock. Some folks come from far away because Madanganj is famous for this stuff. We keep things pretty informal. If someone walks in, we just show them what we have on the pallets. There is always a lot of noise from the trucks passing by or the cranes moving slabs in the mandi across the street. It’s not the quietest place to work but we like the pace. Dealing with natural stone means every piece is a bit different, which keeps it interesting. We’ve been here for a while and the routine is mostly the same every day. We start early before it gets too hot and keep at it until the day is done. The stone is heavy and the days are long, but that is just how it goes for us.
