Krishana Marbles

We are over on Tunkra Road in Madanganj at Krishana Marbles. Being near the Marble Mandi means there is always a lot of dust and noise, but we don't mind it much. It’s just the way things are in this part of town. Our yard has been here for a while and we’ve seen a lot of people come and go. We deal with all sorts of stone, mostly marble that comes in from the local quarries. We don't have a big fancy website or glossy brochures to show people. Usually, people just drive up, walk around the stacks, and point at what they like. We spend a lot of our time cleaning the slabs so the natural colors show through the dust. It’s a lot of physical labor, but it keeps us busy. We try to be fair with everyone who stops in. There's no script we follow; we just talk to you like a neighbor. If you have questions about how a certain stone might hold up, we tell you what we've seen happen with it before. The yard can be a bit of a maze sometimes when we get a big shipment in, but we eventually get everything sorted out. It’s just a regular day-to-day operation here. We like the work and we like the people we meet along Tunkra Road. You’ll usually see us out there with the cutters or loading up a tractor for someone.
