Khushi Marble & Granite

We are based out of the RIICO Industrial Area on Harmada Road in Madanganj. This whole area is known for stone, so we are surrounded by similar businesses. It is a very industrial environment with a lot of white dust everywhere from the marble cutting. We spend our days at the yard, checking the quality of the blocks that come in. It is loud and busy, with the sound of saws running in the background from the nearby units. We don't have a fancy front office; we just have a small desk where we keep our papers and drink tea. Most of our work is about checking the veins in the marble and making sure the polishing is done correctly. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we know. The sun in Madanganj can be really harsh, so we do most of the heavy work in the early morning. We get customers from all over who come to this area specifically for stone. We just show them what we have got on the floor at the moment. There is no pressure, just looking at rocks. Sometimes we have to move twenty slabs just to get to the one the customer likes. It is part of the daily routine. We have been doing this for years, and while the machines have changed a bit, the stone stays the same. It is just the way it works here.
