Jajoo Marble

We are located at the Marble Corner on N.H.-8, right near Amrit Bhojnalay. Being near the highway and a popular food spot makes it easy for people to find us. Our yard is usually packed with different kinds of marble slabs leaning against one another. It’s a very practical space. We don’t have a showroom with air conditioning or anything like that. We just have the stone out where the natural light can hit it. Most of our day is spent helping people look through the stacks. It can be quite a process because you have to move one slab to see the one behind it. We use the crane for the heavy lifting, but there is still a lot of manual effort involved. The sound of the highway is always there, with trucks and cars zooming by at all hours. We get a lot of dust from the road and from the stone itself, so things aren't always sparkling clean. We just focus on keeping the stock moving and making sure the measurements are right. Sometimes we stop for a bite at the bhojnalay nearby when things get quiet. It is a straightforward business without any bells and whistles. We have been at this corner for some time now, and we just take each day as it comes, dealing with the stone and the people who need it.
