Jai Shree Shyam Marbles

Our place, Jai Shree Shyam Marbles, is located on Paryavaran Road in the Madanganj RIICO Industrial Area. It’s a busy street, especially with all the stone businesses lined up one after another. We have a decent sized yard where we keep all sorts of marble slabs. Every morning, I come in and check the stock to see what we need to move around. The sun can be really hot on Paryavaran Road, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early if we can. We don't have any marketing people or slick brochures. If someone wants to see what we have, they just walk in and we walk around the piles together. It’s simple that way. Sometimes we have a lot of one kind of stone, and other times we are waiting for a shipment. That is just the way the business goes. I’ve lived in Madanganj most of my life and I don’t think I could do any other kind of work now. The smell of the wet stone and the sound of the cutters is just part of my day. We are just regular people trying to do a decent job. We don’t make any big promises, we just show you the stone as it is. If you like it, you take it. That is how it has always been for us here in the industrial area. We hope to stay here for a long time.
