Gem Marbles

Gem Marbles is just a small spot here on Tunkra Road in the Madangunj industrial area. We've been around for a bit now. If you're coming down this way, you'll see us right near RK Marble. It gets pretty dusty out here with all the stone cutting going on, but that's just how the business is. Most days we are just busy moving slabs around with the crane or talking to folks who stop by looking for something specific for their house. The stone comes in, we sort it, and it sits in the yard until someone needs it. It isn't a fancy setup. Just a yard with a lot of heavy material. We mostly deal with the local builders and people from around the district who know where to find us. Sometimes the weather makes things hard, especially when it rains and the ground gets muddy, but we keep the gates open anyway. My cousin helps out with the loading when things get busy. We don't have a big office or anything, just a small place to sit and some tea for whoever comes in. Usually, people just want to see the colors and feel the texture of the slabs before they decide. It's a lot of physical work, lifting and shifting, but we've got the tools for it. If you are driving through the industrial area, you can't miss the piles of marble along the road.
