Gayatri Stones is set up at E-74-F in the third phase of the RIICO Industrial Area, right on Harmara Road. Being on the main road makes it easier for people to spot us, though the dust from the passing trucks is something we have to deal with every single day. Our yard isn't the biggest in Madanganj, but we cram a lot of stone into the space we have. You’ll see rows of slabs lined up along the fences and near the main shed. We focus on natural stones that are common in this region. It’s a lot of manual labor, checking the quality and making sure the edges are clean. We don't have a big corporate philosophy or a list of goals on the wall. Our goal is just to get through the day's work and make sure the deliveries go out on time. The guys working here are good at what they do and they don't waste much time. If you’re looking for stone, you just walk in and we show you what’s currently in the yard. Sometimes we have a lot of one color, other times we’re waiting on a fresh load from the quarry. That’s just the nature of the business. We keep our prices fair and our talk honest. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a fancy showroom; we just want to provide the stone people need for their building projects. It’s a practical, local business.
