Ganpati Sangemarmar is located in the Phase III Industrial Area of Madanganj, specifically at Plot No. F 174/175. This part of the industrial zone is always humming with activity. We have been working with marble for a long time, and our yard is usually piled high with blocks waiting to be processed. The machines here are old but they still do the job of slicing through the sangemarmar. It is a wet and messy process, and the ground is always a bit slippery with the stone dust and water. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us out in the yard or in the small shed where we track the inventory. The sun hits the white stone and makes it almost blinding in the middle of the day, so we all wear hats or cloths over our heads. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to get through the orders we have on the books. Most of our neighbors in Phase III are doing the same thing, so there is a sense of everyone just working hard. We drink a lot of tea from the stall at the corner and talk to the truck drivers while they wait to be loaded. It’s just the daily grind of the marble business in a busy industrial town where the work never really stops for long.
