We’ve been here at E-391 on Harmara Road in Madanganj for a while now. Most days it’s just about the marble. It gets pretty dusty out here, especially when the wind picks up off the road, so we spend a lot of time just cleaning off the slabs so people can actually see the patterns. There’s a lot of heavy lifting involved. We have the cranes and the trucks coming in and out of the 4th phase all day long. It isn't a fancy setup. The office is small and usually has some tea cups sitting around. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. We handle a lot of different blocks that come in from the quarries. You can hear the saws running in the distance from the other units nearby. It’s a busy area of Madanganj, lots of traffic. We just try to keep things organized, though the yard gets messy when a new shipment arrives. The guys work hard, and we mostly just focus on getting the slabs loaded up correctly so they don’t crack on the way to wherever they are going. It’s plain work, nothing too exciting, but it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down. We usually close up when it gets dark because the lighting out in the yard isn't that great anyway.
