Bharat Marble

Our yard at Bharat Marble is situated right in the heart of the Marble Mandi on Harmara Road. If you are driving down this way, you can find us directly opposite Padmawati Marbles. This whole area is always busy with trucks and heavy machinery moving stone back and forth. It is a noisy place, but we are used to it by now. We spend most of our mornings checking the new arrivals and making sure everything is where it should be. The dust from the marble is everywhere, on the floors and the windows, so we just keep cleaning as we go. It’s hard work, especially when the sun is beating down on the yard. We aren't a giant corporation, just some local guys who understand how the market here in Madanganj works. People stop by to look at the slabs, and we just let them walk around and see for themselves. There’s no pressure or anything. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and we know the other shop owners on the road. It feels like a small community even though it's an industrial area. Sometimes we have tea with the drivers while they wait for their loads. The work isn't always easy, and some days are slower than others, but we keep the gates open and keep moving. If you need to find us, just look for the big stack of stones across from Padmawati. We’re usually around from early morning until the sun goes down, just doing our daily thing.
