Bhagwan Das Marbles

If you are driving down Makrana Road in Madanganj, you will find us near Charbhuja Marble. This is a very old part of the marble trade. My family has been involved with stone for a long time. Our yard at Bhagwan Das Marbles isn't fancy, but it gets the job done. We have rows and rows of slabs leaning against each other. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We spend the morning walking around and checking if any new cracks appeared or if the polish is still looking okay. The dust here is everywhere, it’s on our clothes and in our hair, but that is just the way it is in Kishangarh. We don't have a mission statement or any of that corporate talk. We just sell marble. People come in, they look at the patterns, and they decide if it fits their house. We help them load it onto their vehicles and that's about it. Sometimes we sit down and have some tea with the drivers while they wait for their paperwork. It’s a friendly enough place. We’ve seen the industrial area grow a lot over the years, with more and more shops opening up. We just keep doing our thing. The location near Charbhuja makes it easy for people to find us since they are a big landmark on this stretch of the road.
