Our place is located on Plot No 3 along Harmara Road here in Madanganj. It is a straight road, but sometimes the traffic makes it hard for the heavy lorries to turn into our gate. We have a good amount of space out back where we keep the marble blocks. Most of our time is spent looking over the quality of the stone as it arrives from the quarries. It is a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around with the forklifts. The staff here has been with us for quite a while, so we all know how the yard works. It gets very hot in the summer months, and the white stone reflects the sun, making it even brighter out there. We just focus on getting the slabs cut and polished without too much fuss. People come by to see the patterns in the granite or to check the thickness of the marble. We usually have a few different varieties sitting around. We do not have a showroom with air conditioning or anything like that. It is just the open yard and a basic office. You might find us busy with a customer or just checking the shipments. Dealing with stone is a heavy business and things do not always go perfectly, but we make it work day by day. It is just a local business on a busy road. There is always something that needs to be moved or loaded before the day ends.
