The Pakwan Restaurant

Our place, The Pakwan Restaurant, is over in IRC Village in Nayapali. We are at N6/7. It’s a pretty quiet area compared to the main city center, but we like it that way. We have been serving food here in Bhubaneshwar for some time. The kitchen is where most of the action happens. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a dining room with some fans and regular chairs. We get a lot of families coming in on the weekends, which makes it feel a bit more alive. During the week, it's mostly people working nearby or students looking for a quick bite. We focus on the cooking. Sometimes we run out of certain ingredients if the market was short that morning, but we always find something to make. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We just wanted a place where the food talks for itself without all the extra noise. You can find us easily if you know the Nayapali area. It’s a straightforward spot. We don't have a big social media team or anything like that. It is just a bunch of us in the back making sure the pots are simmering and the rice is ready. We appreciate the people who stop by. We just try to keep the tables clean and the food coming out as fast as we can.
