Subway Restaruants

We operate this Subway inside Sandy Resorts in the Jaydev Vihar area of Bhubaneshwar. We are situated quite close to XIMB Square, which brings in a lot of students and young professionals who are in the area for classes or work. The shop is a basic layout with the usual counter where you can see all the ingredients laid out. We try to keep things as tidy as we can, even when the shop gets full of people during the evening hours. It is not a very large space, so sometimes it feels a bit crowded, but people usually find a spot to sit and eat. Our staff consists of local guys who know the neighborhood well. We spend a lot of our time prepping the vegetables and making sure the cookies are baked right. Sometimes the local power cuts can be a bit of a headache, but we just deal with it and keep going. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just want to make sure that when someone walks in, they get the sandwich they asked for without any trouble. The air conditioning is usually running to give people a break from the Bhubaneshwar heat. It is a simple, no-nonsense place to grab something to eat. We like the rhythm of the work and the people who stop by.
