Spanish Fried Chicken

Spanish Fried Chicken is located at 504, Madhusudhan Nagar, over in Jaydev Vihar. If you are looking for us, we are right in front of the Indian Oil Pump. It’s a very busy spot in Bhubaneshwar. You can always smell the spices when you get close to the shop. The kitchen is small and gets incredibly hot, especially during the dinner rush when all the fryers are going at once. We have a few tables for people who want to eat right away, but a lot of people just grab their food and head home. The floor is often a bit slippery despite how much we scrub it. That’s just the life of a chicken joint. We have a couple of guys who handle the cooking and one person at the counter taking orders. It gets loud with the fans blowing and the traffic noise from the pump across the street. We don't have a big corporate menu with a hundred items. We just do what we know. Sometimes we have to close a bit early if we run out of fresh chicken for the day. We try to keep things simple and honest. No fancy uniforms or big signs. Just a local shop where we work hard and hope people leave with a full stomach. It’s a busy and tiring job, but it’s what we do every day here in Jaydev Vihar. We are just regular local people serving the neighborhood the best way we can.
