Somli Tandoor Garden

We are over at Somli Tandoor Garden, which is at 106/B near Gopabandhu Square in Surya Nagar. Bhubaneshwar can get pretty warm, so having a bit of an open feel here helps. It is not a massive garden or anything, just a spot where we have some space and the tandoor oven going. We spend a lot of time around that oven because that is where most of the cooking happens. The smoke and the heat are just part of our daily life here in 751003. We have been in this Surya Nagar spot for a while now. It is a decent neighborhood, and we know many of the people who live nearby. Sometimes we forget to change the tablecloths right away when it is busy, or a chair might be a bit wobbly, but we try to keep things moving. We are not trying to be a five-star place. We are just a local spot where you can get something to eat. The staff is mostly just local guys who have been with us for a bit. We do not have any big corporate rules, we just show up and start the fire in the morning. People seem to like sitting outside when the weather is not too bad. It is just a practical place to get a meal. We do our own cleaning and shopping for the kitchen every morning. It is a lot of work but it is what we do to keep going.
