Red Chillie Restaurants

Red Chillie Restaurants is actually located inside the Blue Star Hotel over in Unit 3 of Kharvel Nagar. We’re right near Keshari Cinema Hall, so we get a lot of people coming in before or after they catch a movie. It’s a nice spot in Bhubaneshwar because it’s central and easy to find. Being part of the hotel means we see a lot of travelers, but we also have plenty of locals from Kharvel Nagar who stop by. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We aren’t trying to be some high-end dining hall; we just want to serve decent food to whoever is hungry. The kitchen can get quite hectic when a movie lets out at Keshari. We’ve had some long nights here, especially on weekends. The staff here has been together for a while, so we know how to handle the rush without getting too stressed out. Sometimes the hotel guests want something specific, and we try to accommodate them as best as we can. It’s a lot of coordination between the kitchen and the hotel front desk. We don’t use any corporate scripts or fancy language when we talk to our customers. We’re just regular people working in a restaurant. It’s a steady job and we like seeing people enjoy their meals. Kharvel Nagar is a good neighborhood to be in, and we’ve become a bit of a fixture here over time.
