Om Sri SAI Restaurant

Our little spot, Om Sri SAI Restaurant, is right at Shop No-1 in Subham Market. If you know where the UTI Bank is, you can’t miss us because we’re directly in front of it. Being in a busy part of Bhubaneshwar means there’s always something going on outside our door. We spend a lot of time just keeping up with the people coming in and out of the market. It’s a simple room with some tables and chairs, nothing too special to look at. We start early in the morning, getting the kitchen ready before the bank opens and the street gets crowded. The noise from the traffic is constant, but you get used to it after a week or two. Most of the people who eat here are just workers from the nearby shops or people doing their banking. We don’t have a big fancy sign or anything, just our name above the door. I usually handle the cash while the boys in the back do the cooking. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to manage with what we have, but we try to keep the food coming. It’s a local place for local people, and that suits us just fine. We keep things clean and make sure the water is cold. It’s not much, but it’s what we do every day from morning until the market closes up at night.
