Maa Mangala Travels

Our office is tucked away at number 722, right by the Mangala Mandir in Unit 8. Most people find us by looking for the Gopabandhu Club, since we’re pretty much right there. Maa Mangala Travels isn't some big fancy agency with a lot of shiny posters. It’s just a place where we sit down and help people plan their trips or book a vehicle. We spend a lot of our time on the phone, checking on drivers or making sure things are ready for the next day. It gets a bit hectic sometimes, especially during the festival seasons when everyone wants to travel at once. The office space is simple. We have some old maps on the wall and a couple of desks that have seen better days. Living and working in Bhubaneshwar means we know the shortcuts and the bad patches of road. We try to be straightforward with anyone who walks in. If a car is going to be late because of traffic near the temple, we’ll tell you. We don't see the point in making things sound better than they are. Most of our regulars are from the local neighborhood. They stop by for a chat even when they don't need a ride. It’s a quiet enough spot most afternoons. We just focus on getting the job done and making sure the keys are where they should be, even if the filing system gets a bit disorganized by Friday afternoon.
