Travelite

Our office is in Block-B of the Vaisakha Appartment, which is unit B-328. We are located on Cuttack Road in Bhubaneshwar. It is a bit different because we are inside an apartment building rather than a storefront on the main street. It makes the place feel a bit more quiet and private for us. We have one room set up with a few computers and a printer that occasionally decides it doesn't want to work. Most of our day is spent looking at screens and talking to people on the mobile phone. We handle all sorts of travel stuff, from small car trips to longer journeys out of the city. Cuttack Road is always busy, so we hear the honking of cars and buses all day long even from our floor. We usually have some snacks on the table and the windows are kept open to let a bit of air in. It’s not a large company with hundreds of workers. It is just a small group of us who have been doing this for a while. We don't have any big posters or fancy lights. The walls are mostly bare except for a calendar and a clock that is five minutes fast. We just focus on getting the bookings right and making sure the drivers know where they are going. It is a straightforward way of working and it suits us just fine. We close up when the work is finished.
