You can find us at Hotel Seetal in Vani Vihar. We are situated near the Shani Mandir, which means it gets very crowded on Saturdays with people coming to offer prayers. Our little corner of the hotel is where we manage all the travel requests that come our way. Because we are near the university, we see a lot of students and teachers looking for ways to get home for the holidays. The lobby of the hotel is usually humming with people checking in and out, so there is never a dull moment. We have a small desk with a computer and a lot of business cards scattered around. Most of the time, we are busy coordinating with drivers or trying to find a spare seat on a night bus. It’s a small operation, just a couple of us making sure everything runs okay. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just talk to people who walk by or call us up on the phone. The traffic around Vani Vihar can be a mess sometimes, so we spend a lot of time telling people to leave early for their trips. We keep a bottle of water on the desk and a calendar that is marked up with all sorts of dates. It’s a simple life working in a hotel office, but it keeps us on our toes and we get to meet a lot of different people throughout the week.
