We are located up on the 2nd floor of Mahodadhi Nilaya in Tamando. If you know the area, it is right there in Bhubaneswar. The office isn't very big but it gets the job done for us. We spend most of our mornings drinking tea and checking the computer for new messages about train tickets or car rentals. Sometimes the internet is slow and we just sit there talking about the traffic on the main road outside. My desk is usually covered in old diaries and sticky notes because I can't seem to keep things perfectly organized. We started this place a while back because we knew the area well and people kept asking where to find a good driver or a cheap flight. It’s mostly just us answering phones and writing down names in our registers. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep so we try not to go down more than we have to during the day. When the sun goes down, the light in the office gets a bit dim but we stay until the last booking is sorted out. There are no fancy paintings on the walls or leather chairs here. We just have a few plastic chairs for when people come in to pay their bills or ask about a bus route. It’s a quiet spot most of the time except when the phones all start ringing at once. We like being in Tamando because it feels like home to us.
