Jelly Bean Restaurant

Jelly Bean Restaurant sits on Plot No 889 in Unit 4 of Bhubaneshwar. We are right across from the Lake View Apartment and very close to The World shop, so it’s a pretty easy place to find if you’re in the neighborhood. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while now. The area around Unit 4 is usually busy with people coming and going from the nearby apartments and shops. Inside, the restaurant is set up simply. We don't have any of those corporate interior designers; we just put in some tables and chairs that looked right and kept things clean. The kitchen is where most of the work happens. We start early in the morning to get everything ready for the first people who walk in. Being in 751001 means we get a mix of office workers and residents who don’t feel like cooking at home. Sometimes we get a bit of a rush when a big group from Lake View comes over, but we just do our best to get the food out. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in the city. We just want to be a reliable spot where you can get a meal. The staff is just a small group of us who know each other well. We handle the cleaning, the serving, and the cooking ourselves. It’s a lot of hours on our feet, but that’s just the nature of running a local restaurant like this one in the city.
