Our workshop is located out at Pramukh Swami Farm, which is near the Vijay Paper Mill. To get here, you have to take the Bareja to Barejadi Road and look for the turn toward Mahij village. It’s a bit out of the way compared to the city centers, but we like having the space. We do mostly metal fabrication and industrial parts. There’s always the smell of welding in the air and the sound of grinders going. It’s a family-run place, and we’ve been in this spot in Kheda for many years. The road can get a bit dusty during the dry season, and when it rains, it gets muddy, but that’s just part of being out here. We have a few old machines that still work better than the new ones we bought recently. We don't do much advertising; people usually just hear about us from someone else in the village or from the paper mill workers. We spend our mornings getting the orders ready and the afternoons are for the heavy work. Sometimes we sit outside under the tree for a break when the heat gets too much inside the shed. It’s honest work, and we don’t try to make it sound like more than it is. We just make parts that people need for their machines or buildings. The hours are long, but we enjoy being our own bosses and working with our hands out here in the quiet area of Mahij village.
