We are located at 414 Phase - I in the GIDC Industrial Estate in Chhatral. Being near the Axis Bank makes it easy to give directions. This is an industrial area, so it’s not exactly a quiet place. There is always the sound of machines or trucks moving nearby. Our unit is a big shed-like structure where most of the work happens. The office is just a small partitioned section at the front. It gets quite hot in the summer, so we have a few fans going all the time. There is a lot of metal around, and you can usually smell the oil and grease from the production floor. We don't have a fancy reception desk. Usually, someone just pops their head out of the office when they hear a vehicle pull up. We spend our days checking orders and watching over the floor to make sure things are running. It’s a lot of physical work and the hours can be long when we have a big shipment going out. We know most of the other business owners in this phase of the estate. We grab tea from the same guy who comes around on a cycle. It’s a practical, hardworking atmosphere. We don't worry about how the place looks to outsiders. It’s about getting the tubes made and shipped out to whoever needs them. It’s a tough environment but it’s what we do.
