Patita Paban (Junior) College

Our college is located in Sainkul, which is in the Keonjhar district. It is a junior college, so we mainly see students who are just finishing high school and moving toward their next steps. The building is quite simple and sits in a place that feels very local and grounded. We have a few blocks of classrooms and a small area for the staff. Most of our days are spent in these rooms, going through the various subjects. The students come from the surrounding villages, often arriving by bus or cycle. It’s a lively place because of the age of the students. They have a lot of energy, which makes the hallways quite loud between classes. We don't have anything that looks like a corporate office. It is just a regular place for learning. The furniture is a bit old, and the walls have some posters and notices tacked up. We handle the admissions and the exam forms from a small desk in the corner. There is nothing fancy about the way we operate. It is just about the daily routine of classes and study. We see the seasons change from the windows of our classrooms. It’s a plain, practical place where the local youth come to spend their college years. We are just part of the Sainkul landscape, doing what we do every day without much fuss or bother.
