Derabish (Junior) College

Out here in Dera, life moves a bit slower than in the big cities. Derabish (Junior) College is tucked away in Kendrapara, and most people around here know exactly where we are without needing a map. It’s a place for the local kids who finished school and need to get through those next couple of years before they figure out what’s next. We aren't a massive campus with glass buildings. It’s more of a practical setup with rooms that have seen plenty of students pass through over the seasons. The weather gets hot, and sometimes the rain makes things a bit messy outside, but classes go on. Most of the staff live nearby, so we see the students and their parents at the market or around town quite often. It makes the whole thing feel less like a formal institution and more like a local fixture. We deal with the usual paperwork, lectures, and the occasional broken desk that needs fixing. There’s always someone around to help if a student gets stuck on a subject, but it’s all very low-key. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. We just open the gates in the morning and get to work. It’s about getting through the syllabus and making sure the exams happen on time.
