We are set up at Sf No.99/2 in Vadaikkipatty, which is in the Agl Appponnamaravathy area. The full name we use is Ponnamaravathi Kalasam Vegetable Farmers Producer Company Limited. We mostly deal with vegetables, as the name says. Growing vegetables is different from other crops because they need so much attention every day. If you don't watch them, the bugs or the dry weather will get them fast. We are a group of farmers who decided it was better to be a company than just individual sellers. This way, we have a bit more weight when we go to the market. The spot at Vadaikkipatty is where we gather and sort through what we have grown. It is not a fancy facility, just a place that works for what we need. Ponnamaravathy is our home, and we know the land around here very well.
