It has high ceilings and stays relatively cool even when it’s hot outside in Karur. We work on crop technologies, which sounds fancy, but mostly it’s just us trying out different ways to make the plants grow better. We spend a lot of time in the nearby fields checking on things. The office has some lab equipment and a lot of notebooks filled with observations. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of employees. We are just a few people who are really interested in how crops work. Sometimes we fail at an experiment and have to start over. That’s just how it goes. Nangavaram is a quiet place to work. We don't get many visitors, mostly just local farmers asking what we're up to. We try to explain things simply. No one here likes big technical words. We drink a lot of coffee and spend our days looking at soil and leaves. It’s honest work. We aren't trying to sell anyone anything they don't need. We just want to find better ways for the local agriculture to thrive. It’s a slow process, but we have the patience for it. Our door is usually open if you’re passing through Agraharam. We hope the work we do makes a small difference here.
